Who I am

Hi, I’m Liv — a yoga teacher, bodyworker, and sound healing practitioner devoted to helping people feel more at home in their bodies.

I’m an RYT-500 yoga instructor, certified Foundation Training teacher, and practitioner of therapeutic bodywork (including Zenthai Shiatsu), with additional training and mentorship in sound healing. I offer multiple pathways into healing and embodiment, recognizing that different bodies — and different moments in life — call for different kinds of support.

My personal journey into this work began with chronic back pain at sixteen. Despite years of searching — and even through two decades of practicing and teaching yoga — lasting relief remained elusive. Everything shifted when I discovered Foundation Training, which helped me experience real, sustainable freedom from pain and gave me a new lens for understanding posture, movement, and structural support.

That experience sparked a deep curiosity about how the body heals and adapts. Since then, I’ve continued to study and integrate yoga, Foundation Training, therapeutic bodywork, and sound healing — each offering a unique doorway into pain relief, nervous system regulation, and deeper connection with the body.

At Liv Yoga, you’ll find group yoga classes, private movement sessions, hands-on bodywork, and sound healing experiences. Together, these modalities support:

  • Pain relief and injury recovery

  • Strength, mobility, and postural support

  • Nervous system balance and stress reduction

  • Greater body awareness and resilience

My work is about meeting you where you are and offering the right blend of movement, touch, breath, and sound to support your body’s natural capacity to heal and thrive.
